A new category of the contest “Direct Hit 2008” 12.03.2008 17:11
In 2008 the Open International Contest of Direct Marketing projects “Direct Hit” will have a new category – «Projects on the Basis of a Contact Center». This category will replace the category «Telemarketing». The industry of contact-centers in Ukraine is developing so actively that at the moment the Ukrainian call-centers are more modernized and have more possibilities than the call-centers of the West Europe. It had an effect on the formation of a professional community. The Club of the Heads of Contact Centers “Hot Skills” has been effectively working in Kiev since 2007. Its members suggested an idea to replace a narrow category “Telemarketing” for a wider one “Projects on the Basis of a Contact Center”. From now on the participants of the contest can reveal their possibilities and skills in full and show how they build the work with clients by means of a contact center. Nowadays, contact centers are the industry which allows building of full-fledged communication with consumers. A new category of the contest “Direct Hit” will show all range of projects carried out by Ukrainian contact centers. All works for the Contest are to be submitted till May 1, 2008. Projects can be submitted to the following categories:
· Direct mail Â2Â · Direct mail Â2Ñ · Projects on the basis of a contact center · DM with use of interactive channels (web, sms, å-mail, iVR, DRTV) · Distance trade · Complex DM projects · DM in complex advertising campaigns
Final presentation of contest works for “DirectHit2008” will be held on May 28, 2007. 21 participants of the contest, whose works receive the highest marks of the Jury, will be invited to publicly present their projects in the face of the Jury and participants of the conference. In 2007 there were submitted 51 works of 30 companies from Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Moldova and Croatia. The Jury was headed by Drayton Bird (Great Britain). The Grand Prix of «Direct Hit 2007» went to the Project «Baby food with full understanding», ROI Communications (the advertiser – NUTRICIA). The International Open Contest for the best DM project “Direct Hit” is organized by “OS-Direct” DM Agency. The main aim is to attract attention of clients and consumers of direct-marketing services to the authors of innovative projects, thus stimulating a creative approach in communications, as well as to facilitate the development of the DM industry. The Contest is held within the framework of the International Business Forum «Direct Marketing Days in Ukraine». This year “DM Days” will be held on May 28029 in Kiev.
